Totally furnished with linens, kitchen package, wi-fi and cable TV. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen with white shaker cabinets, white tile counters, gas cooktop. Large butcher block work table. Classy arches. Walk in closet. Delightfully furnished. Many unique pieces. Washer/dryer, charming courtyard garden with fountain. Carport, garage . . . and a porch swing.
Sits on a quiet shaded street. Close to town. Some say it is in the best part of St. Petersburg. People come from all around to live in Old Northeast. It is close to town, waterfront parks, museums. Enjoy them during the day and come home at night to the warm glow of this compelling little bungalow.
The cottage is a wonderful merger of old and new. Antique and salvage yard treasures to flea market finds. A little quirky. A little whimsical. It makes for a fun memory.
We’ve collected many cool pieces and created a custom look. Some call it shabby chic. Some call it repurposed.
Our dining room table was a rescue. From the trash. Old with that ugly brown stain they used a 100 years ago. The base was ripped from the top, just to get it out the door. We found it. Our faux finisher friend transformed it. Look for it in our photo gallery. In the coral dining room. It is magnificent now.
It sits under the brass chandelier, that is not brass anymore. It has that crackle chalk paint look. Oyster shells from a dinner at the local oyster bar hang from the arms. Guess you could call that repurposing. The best part is the crystals. Classes it up.
An authentic old carousel mirror hangs on the dining room wall. It was one of the mirrors that hung on the inside core of the carousel. It reflected the horses. Now it reflects the chandelier.
The bungalow has two bedrooms. Two bathrooms. Couch in living room could sleep two. That’s six people . . in a pinch.
Big 40” flat screen smart TV in living room. Easy to see from the couch and the two swivel chairs. The pine display case is from an old store. We packed it with novels . . . if TV is not your thing. Besides, the wicker couch on the front porch makes a great place to read . . . and fall asleep.
Listen for the gurgling fountain in the backyard. It is tucked among a festive display of flowers. Drowns out city noises. Lounge chairs and umbrella make a great place to soak up sun. We even added a small gas grill for the nights you want to stay in.
Everyone loves the large red Samsung washer and dryer. No apartment size unit here. We gave it its' own space in the garage with folding table along side. You never have to listen to it in the house.
Just off the courtyard is a convenient carport if you don’t want to parallel park on the street. The garage is also available. Or, abandon the car. It is an easy stroll to town. We have bikes, too!
